The newly reopened Legacy Lodge & Conference Center, formerly known as Emerald Pointe, is the perfect location to host a company retreat, corporate planning session, family reunion, gala reception, or the celebration of a special occasion with a loved one. Part of Lake Lanier Islands Resort (LLI), Legacy's accommodations, span the resort’s 1,100 acres, and include 287 well-appointed guestrooms, villas and lakehouses, and 16 suites, which all provide fine amenities, gorgeous views, gracious service and IACC-certified meeting facilities.
A Food and Beverage Makeover
In addition to the façade and décor; the food and beverage services on the islands have been given a facelift. The maestro behind the food and beverage makeover is Pascal Pedaggi (Lake Lanier Islands Food and Beverage Director). After over 9 years working on the island, Pascal knows what his clients expect and how to deliver the ultimate experience through customer service. “It starts and ends at the entrance gate to the islands,” says Pedaggi. “We want our guests to come happy and leave happier!”
With the grand reopening around the corner, Pascal turned to a seasoned
professional who has over 28 years of experience in the culinary industry. Anthony Burke, CEC, brings years of culinary experience with corporate hotels and convention centers to his position as Executive Chef of Lake Lanier Islands Resorts. Chef Burke feels he hit the culinary jackpot when he was presented with the opportunity to work for LLI. Being able to intimately control every aspect of the food and beverage services for the entire island property was the real draw…without corporate ownership, Chef Burke believes he can really put his talents to work with no creative boundaries.

Legacy Lodge & Conference Center at Lake Lanier Islands Resort offers a variety of options for your dining pleasure. Whether you prefer a casual meal by the pool, a quick bite to eat during your golf round, or a special wine tasting dinner, Lake Lanier Islands Resort has it all. Additionally, the dining venues are available by boat. Just dock at Harbor Landing and a shuttle will come pick you up to take you to one of their terrific venues:
Bullfrogs Bar & Grille - which is open for lunch and dinner daily and offers guests the option to dine indoors or poolside
Windows Restaurant - which overlooks Lake Lanier and provides a full breakfast buffet daily and special dining events throughout the year.
Fairways Grille - which is perfect for refueling after the game, and is open for breakfast and lunch at PineIsle Golf Club!
While the day-to-day foodservice operation is focused mostly on the dining venues, the banquet menus are where the magic really happens. As Chef Burke alluded to, the flexibility to be creative is no more evident than with the special event foodservice offerings. The standard banquet menu is over 20 pages long and jam packed with plated, a la carte, and buffet options; which include The Lakeside Buffet…comprised of specialty salads, your choice of Breast of Chicken
Florentine, Roast Sirloin with RedWine Sauce, Grilled Mahi Mahi with Ginger
Sauce, and Roast Loin of Pork with Cherry Madeira Sauce. It is not rare that a
menu is customized to fit the desires and demands of Legacy’s groups…no
