The Latin Chamber of Commerce (CAMACOL) has awarded the Sanchez-to-Sanchez-to-Smith award to Performance Foodservice – Empire for making outstanding strides in the international business sector, specifically exports to and from Latin America. Empire’s achievements include opening over 90 new International export accounts in more than 35 Caribbean islands and Latin American countries over the past 2 years.
CAMACOL is the largest Hispanic business organization in South Florida and one of the most influential minority business associations in the United States. CAMACOL’s mission is to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of the community. As such, the chamber has developed programs to strengthen local business activity, promote economic development, facilitate international commerce, and serve the civic needs of community. In essence, CAMACOL’s mission is to develop and strengthen the small and minority business sectors.
